Starter Conversion: If The Traxxas Engine Already Has A Pull Starter - Simply Take Remove Pull Starter and Install This Easy Start System. If The Traxxas Engine Does Not Have A Pull Starter At All- Purchase: TRAG4077-Starter Shaft, TRAG4074-Backplate, TRAG4011-One- Way Bearing, TRAG4013-Gasket and TRAC5552-3x8mm Screws.

Per TRAXXAS the rear gear is now metal. And anyone who has stripped out this plastic rear gear can call them and they will replace it for free.

Because of the size of the tip of the Traxxas glow plugs, the Easy Start will only work with Traxxas glow plugs. Most other glow plugs have a tip that is too large for the lead to connect to without damaging the lead.
