This is a 1:7 Scale, Radio Controlled, Glow Powered, Balsa and Plywood Top Flite Gold Edition Hawker Sea Fury MK11 Airplane Kit. For Intermediate to Advanced Modeler/Fliers. Recommended for modelers who have mastered low wing airplanes. In 1942, Britain's Royal Air Force saw the need for a good long range fighter. But it was the Royal Navy that picked up the Fury and introduced it to their Air Fleet in 1948. Named the Sea Fury, it proved a capable warrior, and in 1949 set a speed record flying from London to Rome. The former warbird is often seen today at events such as the Reno Air Races, which in 1999, featured eight Sea Fury contenders.
